  19.    6      quarts        popped popcorn (1 c raw kernels)
  20.                         salt to taste
  21.      1/2  c             butter or margarine
  22.    1      tsp           dried basil
  23.    1      tsp           dried chervil
  24.      1/2  tsp           dried thyme
  25.   12      oz            mixed nuts (optional)

  27. Place popcorn in a large container or oven roasting pan.  Salt to taste
  28. and set aside.  Melt butter in a small saucepan. Remove from heat;
  29. stir in basil, chervil, and thyme.  Drizzle butter mixture over popcorn
  30. and toss lightly to coat evenly.  Stir in the nuts if desired.
